This project involves demolishing an existing house and replacing with a two level, block basement, steel and timber framed upper level. Features of the build include: excavation into the hillside and a 'tight' site; masonry block basement retaining walls; pre-cast first floor panels; structural steel portals and beams framing walls and roof; a clerestory roof; and vertical cedar louvres to entrance wall.
